Most of us know G Plan as a range of furniture produced in Britain in the 50s and 60s (I have four amazing G Plan dining chairs which were my Mum and Dads). Now they have launched the G Plan Vintage collection – a range of sofas and chairs inspired by those classic designs, in collaboration with Hemingway Design.
The collection combines a vintage feel with a contemporary approach – something Wayne Hemingway is an expert at. Every piece is handcrafted in England, and you can choose fabrics, wood and cushions.
My favourite is The Fifty Three sofa and footstool. I love its buttoned back and wooden plinth…

Plus there are four other collections to choose from…

If I wasn’t feeling excited enough about this collection, there’s a competition to win up to £3000 worth of it! The idea is to create a mood board on Pinterest using one of the chairs or sofas as a starting point. All the details are here. Well, that’s the rest of my day sorted!
Available exclusively at John Lewis. All images G Plan Vintage.
