We're going on holiday this weekend to Madeira, for a week of relaxation. We chose Madeira because it looks peaceful, which is exactly what we want for a week. We're staying in a lovely hotel overlooking the sea. I can't wait! If I was to book another holiday anytime soon though, I'd like to stay… Continue reading Time to escape

Exposed brick + vintage + glass = kitchen envy
This kitchen diner is so beautiful it makes me want to cry. Where do I start as to how much I love this space? All… Continue reading Exposed brick + vintage + glass = kitchen envy

I love its nod to mid century but the design… Continue reading Oliver Hrubiak Design

But do we go for rich, dark glossy… Continue reading Floorboards – dark or light?
Light up
Who says lightbulbs are boring? I love these Calex decorative bulbs, matched with coloured cords. Hang in groups for optimum impact. Buy the bulbs from John Lewis, from £8, and the cords from NUD Collection.
Tweeting
Spring is here! The sun is out in London today, the sky is blue and the birds are tweeting happily outside my window. I have a soft spot for products featuring birds - bird prints, wallpapers, vintage ceramics - in fact anything fun and nicely designed. And owls - owls are cool. There's a distinctly… Continue reading Tweeting
